AusNet undertakes extensive customer research to help us understand customers’ needs, perceptions and behaviours in relation to energy usage. This information enables us to make more informed, data-driven decisions and improve the end-user customer experience.

As well as conducting and commissioning our own research, we also participate in a number of trials and research projects with other partners to help us understand household electricity and gas practices and patterns, and accelerate and shape the transition to a net-zero energy future.
