Our Energy Sentiments research program is a bi-annual survey collecting strategic insights from residential and business customers around energy sentiments and behaviours, and how they are changing over time. Every Autumn and Spring, we ask 300 residential and 100 business customers on our gas and electricity networks about their thoughts on their:
- attitude towards AusNet and the energy industry generally
- customer experience with various aspects of their gas or electricity supply, and
- energy behaviours and intentions.
It is also an opportunity to seek feedback on any initiatives or plans we are thinking of pursuing. The Energy Sentiments survey is often used in conjunction with other information sources to help us make business decisions and maintain an up-to-date understanding of how our customers are thinking and feeling, and changes to their energy interactions.
We are hoping to start publicly sharing more data from this study soon.
